Short version: we hold what the tool needs to work, we don't sell any of it, and we don't hand it to anyone who isn't helping us run it. Below is the long version, with names.

What we hold about you

Your email address, your salon name, and whatever else you put in Setup — phone, address, your prices, your time zone. Plus the fact that you paid, when, and how much.

What we hold about your clients

Their name, and the phone number or email they gave you. Their dog's name, breed, size, age, coat, and what they wrote in the notes. The photos they sent. The price you quoted and what they accepted, with the date and time they accepted it.

This is your client list, not ours. We hold it so the tool works for you. We don't contact your clients for our own reasons, and we never use their details to sell them anything.

The photos

Photos are not published anywhere. They sit in private storage, and the only way to see one is a link we generate for you that stops working after an hour. Every row in the database is locked to the account that owns it: another groomer using GroomScreen cannot see your clients, your photos or your prices, and neither can a stranger with a guessed address.

The proof pack is the one exception, and only if you choose it: when you create a share link, whoever has that link can open that one visit. You can revoke it whenever you want.

Who else touches it

Four companies, and that's the whole list:

Supabase keeps the database and the photos, on servers in the United States. Resend delivers the emails — we turned off their click tracking on purpose, because those emails carry a link where your client accepts terms, and we don't want to sit in the middle of it. Stripe takes the payment. Vercel runs the site and counts page visits.

The payment

We never see your card. It goes straight to Stripe, and what comes back to us is your email address, the amount, and an identifier we use to recognise a refund later.

What we count

On groomscreen.com — the public page where you read about the tool — we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, so we can tell how many people arrive and where from.

Inside the app there is no Google Analytics. We count how far a page gets used with our own counter, which doesn't set a cookie and holds no name and no email, and Vercel counts page visits. Nothing in there is sold or shared.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. If you take the refund, your access closes but nothing is deleted — your clients, your quotes and your photos stay where they are, in case you come back. If you want them gone, say so and they go.

What you can ask for

A copy of everything we hold, or its deletion. Write to hello@groomscreen.com and you get an answer from a person. Depending on where you live you may have these rights by law; you have them here either way.

Your clients' rights

Your clients handed their details to you, not to us — so when one of them asks what happened to their photos, you're the one they'll ask. Tell them what you're using the tool for. If you need something deleted or exported to answer them, write to us and we'll do it.

If this changes

We'll change this page and move the date. Last updated 23 August 2026.
